Kittitas County
Kittitas County is one of the 39 counties of the US state of Washington. In the year 2000 the population was 33,362 inhabitants. Its capital is Ellensburg, which is also the largest city in the county. There are several interpretations of the name, which comes from the language of the Kittite Indians.
