Stevens County
Stevens County, founded in 1870, is one of 105 counties in the US state of Kansas. In 2005, the county had a population of 5,412 inhabitants and a population density of 2.9 persons per km². The county seat is Hugoton. The county is named in honor of Pennsylvania politician Thaddeus Stevens.
