Ottawa County
Ottawa County, founded in 1840, is one of 92 counties of the US state of Ohio. In the year 2000, the county had a population of 40,985 inhabitants and a population density of 62 people per km². The county seat is Port Clinton, and the county is named after the Ottawa tribe. The county is part of the Toledo metropolitan area.
