Jefferson County is one of the 88 counties of the US State of Ohio. The seat of the county is Steubenville, being at the same time the most populated city of the same. The county has an area of 1,064 km², the population of 73,894 inhabitants, and the population density is 70 inhab / km². This county was founded on July 29,1797.
