Grundy County
Grundy County, founded in 1841, is one of 102 counties in the US state of Illinois. In the year 2000, the county had a population of 37,535 inhabitants and a population density of 35 people per km². The county seat is Morris, the county gets its name in honor of Felix Grundy. The county is part of the Chicago metropolitan area.
