Cooper County
Cooper County is a county in the US state of Missouri. In the 2000 census the county had a population of 16,670 inhabitants. The county seat is Boonville. The county was founded on December 17,1818 and was named in honor of Sarshall Cooper, a pioneer who was murdered by Amerindians near Arrow Rock in 1814.
