Cloud County
Cloud County is a county in the US state of Kansas. In the 2000 census the county had a population of 10,268 inhabitants. The county seat is Concordia. The county was founded on March 27,1867 under the name of Shirley County. Later the name was changed to the current one in honor of William F. Cloud, an officer of the Union Army during the Civil War.
