Sullivan County
Sullivan County is a county in the US state of Indiana. In the 2000 census the county had a population of 21,751 inhabitants. It is part of the metropolitan area of Terre Haute. The county seat is Sullivan. The county was founded in 1817 and was named in honor of Daniel Sullivan, who participated in the War of Independence of the United States.
