Jackson County
Jackson County, founded in 1816, is one of 92 counties in the US state of Indiana. In the year 2000, the county had a population of 41,335 inhabitants and a population density of 31 people per km². The county seat is Brownstown, and the county is named in honor of Andrew Jackson.
