Meriwether County
Meriwether County, founded in 1827, is one of 159 counties of the US state of Georgia. In 2007, the county had a population of 22,748 inhabitants and a population density of 9 people per km². The county seat is Greenville, and the county is named after General David Meriwether. The county is also part of the metro Atlanta area.
