Lumpkin County
Lumpkin County, founded in 1832, is one of 159 counties in the US state of Georgia. In 2007, the county had a population of 21,016 inhabitants and a population density of 29 people per km². The county seat is Dahlonega, and the county is named in honor of Georgia Governor Wilson Lumpkin.
