Fayette County
The county of Fayette is a county in the US state of Georgia. In the 2000 census the county had a population of 91,263 inhabitants. It is part of the metropolitan area of Atlanta. The county seat is Fayetteville. The county was founded on May 15,1821 and was named after the Marquis de La Fayette.
