Tuscaloosa County
Tuscaloosa County is a county in the US state of Alabama that was founded in 1818 and was named after the head of the Choctaw named Tuscaloosa. In the year 2000 it had a population of 171,159 inhabitants with a population density of 48 people per km². The county seat is Tuscaloosa.
