Macon County
Macon County is a county in the US state of Alabama that was founded in 1832 and was named Macon in honor of Senator Nathaniel Macon. In the year 2000 it had a population of 24,105 inhabitants with a population density of 63.6 persons per km². The county seat is Tuskegee.
