Province of Talagante
The Province of Talagante is located in the center-west of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago Chile, adjacent to the provinces of Santiago, Maipo and Melipilla. It has an area of 601.9 km², being in this way the smallest province of Chile, and has a population of approximately 217,449 inhabitants. Its provincial capital is the city of Talagante. Its main activity is in the agroindustrial sector. Various characters have passed through these lands, such as Los Hermanos Carrera, which possessed an innumerable amount of land and businesses in this region.
