Monseñor Nouel
Adolfo Alejandro Nouel y Bobadilla, known as Monseñor Nouel. He was a pedagogue, ecclesiastic and Dominican politician. Metropolitan Archbishop of Santo Domingo, Primate of America between 1906-1935, President of the Dominican Republic provisionally between 1912 and 1913. In addition, he was apostolic delegate of Cuba and Puerto Rico since the beginning of November 1913, a position he held until late 1915.
