Hardap is one of the fourteen regions of Namibia. Here is the Hardap dam. Hardap stretches across the width of Namibia, from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Namibian national border in the east. In the northeast, it borders the Kgalagadi district of Botswana, and in the southeast borders the province of the North Cape of South Africa. In the country, it borders the following regions: Erongo - northwest. Khomas - north central. Omaheke - northeast. Karas - south.
