Tirana
The county of Tirana is one of the 12 counties of Albania. It occupies an area of 1,586 km2 with a population of 601,565 inhabitants. It consists of the Kavajë and Tirana districts. The capital is Tirana. To the west, it borders the Adriatic Sea. By land, it borders the following counties: Durrës: to the north. Dibër: to the northeast. Elbasan: southeast. Fier: to the southFrom the reform of 2015, it is organized in the municipalities of Kamëz, Kavajë, Rrogozhinë, Tirana and Vorë.
