National Capital
The National Capital District of Papua New Guinea is the incorporated area around the city of Puerto Moresby, which is the capital of the country. It covers a total area of 240 km² and according to the 2011 census, it has a population of 364,125 inhabitants. Although it is surrounded by the Central Province of Papua New Guinea, it is technically not part of the province.
