Kayah
Kayah, also called Karenni is a state of Burma. It is located in the east of the country and borders on the north with the state of Shan, on the east with the Thai province of Mae Hong Son and on the south and west with the state of Kayin. Its surface occupies 11,670 km². The state capital is Loikaw. The population is about 240,000 inhabitants, most of whom belong to the Karenni ethnic group.
